Quick Stop in Winnipeg – July 12th – 16th 2017
We had a quick stop in Winnipeg to see family before heading out on our big adventure. We were fed well, had a nice time and saw a few Winnipeg sights.
The Forks was a neat little public market with some great little shops to wander around in and a great food court. Outside we were able to wander around right by the river. In fact, right by 2 rivers. The Red River and the Assiniboine River. And you guessed it, it’s where they forked and met. There were some outdoor play areas for the kids and the weather was great that day.
We also headed to a Winnipeg staple. BDI (Bridge Drive In). Where there is almost always a line up for ice cream!
Next stop Iceland!
